Academics

Summary

RMU’s DPT program is accelerated, spanning 8 semesters rather than the typical 9. Despite this accelerated nature, we don’t sacrifice hands-on experience that prepares you for independent practice. In fact, our DPT program has more clinical experience built into its curriculum than the national average. Our Pro Bono Community Rehabilitation Clinic allows students to help real patients that need real care. In the process of caring for under-served populations in the community, you can gain early patient exposure. There are even select hours where students have the opportunity to run clinic operations. Program Highlights: - Accelerated program (8 semesters instead of 9) - Probono Clinic - Practicing faculty - 2 start dates in the year (May and September) - More clinical hours than the national average - 100% pass rate on the National Certifying Exam - 100% Job placement - Opportunity to go to Africa. - Location near the base of the amazing Rocky Mountains and close to National Parks in Southern Utah
