Rocky Mountain University is a graduate healthcare school that has a primary focus of advancing knowledge and advancing healthcare. One of the main areas of interest we have at RMU, is our Masters in Counseling programs. Counselors are distinguished among the helping disciplines by their balanced focus on wellness and psychopathology. Clinical mental health counselors are often a first and critical point of contact between troubled community members and the helping services that they require. We offer a variety of Counseling programs: - School Counseling - Clinical Mental Health Counseling - Addiction Recovery Counseling - Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling - Marriage & Family Counseling Just a few highlights about our programs: 1. Can be done online asynchronously with one synchronous class per week, and 3 total onsite visits 2. Year-round program acceptance - cohorts that begin in Summer, Fall, and Winter. 3. Option to receive a dual master's in any of the Counseling programs. 4. Designed for the working professional

    Summary
    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. An overall minimum 2.75 undergraduate grade point average on a 4.0 scale. An acceptable undergraduate statistics course with a grade of a C or higher. Acceptable test scores from one of the following standardized tests: GRE, MAT, or PLT. (This criterion is waived for applicants who have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better or hold a conferred master’s degree or higher). Three letters of recommendations (at least 2 from professional references).
