Western New England University is located in a residential section of Springfield, MA, enrolling over 3,800 students. The MS in Construction Management consists of 10 graduate courses (30 credits). The program can be completed in as few as 18 months studying part-time. You will take seven core courses that will include Construction Management; Materials Selection, Cost Estimation, and Bidding; Engineering Cost Analysis; Legal Aspects of Engineering; Occupational Safety and Health; and others. Prior to the completion of your first four courses, you will choose a faculty advisor and plan of study for the remainder of your program. Master’s candidates will select from three options: 1) an all-course option, 2) a project option, which includes advanced coursework and a final presented project, and 3) a thesis option, that involves advanced coursework and a thesis with presentation.

Who We're Looking For

Summary

Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or engineering technology. Other related disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An undergraduate GPA of 2.7 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for admission.
