Who We're Looking For

Summary

We welcome students who wish to gain both theoretical and empirical understanding of democracy and governance. The program is especially suited for students interested in public policy and governance, elections and political behaviour, ethnopolitics and/or modern democratic institutions. Our graduates become political scientists, political aides and consultants, public sector officials, political commentators, policy analysts as well as civic activists or NGO leaders. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. The students do not have to have prior experience with Political Science or Comparative Politics, however, they are expected to be open to familiarise themselves with the foundations of social science methodology. Additionally, the potential student should have their own clear ideas which program specialisations they would like to pursue and what would be the preferred career prospects.
