    Summary
    PsyD students enter the program with a master's degree earned in psychology, counseling, or social work - many also have related work experience.  There is commonly a wide range of ages and experiences in each cohort.  Class sizes are no more than 20 students. The Admissions Committee looks for a candidate's demonstration of exceptional ability in professional background or training. Applicant credentials are evaluated as a composite on the basis of all information submitted in the admission process. The following criteria are necessary for consideration: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 2.5 GPA based on a 4.0 scale. A master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling from an accredited institution with a minimum 3.25 GPA based on a 4.0 scale. Graduate-level practicum. GRE general test scores (school code 1413). Post-masters writing ability along with the knowledge and use of APA writing techniques are required.
